Tara is new to her practice as a graduate of Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practitioner DOMP. An Osteopathic Manual Practitioner focuses on restoring the body’s natural balance by improving the function of the musculoskeletal system, enhancing circulation, and promoting overall well-being. Treatments are done in comfortable loose clothing and involve gentle mobilization, stretching, soft tissue work and also may involve gentle manipulation of cranial bones and viscera.

Tara  has recently completed her Level 1 Neurokinetic Therapy training. NKT is a modality of manual muscle testing that seeks out muscle inhibition or facilitation that commonly happens through scars, injury and functional muscle imbalances.

Tara has been a student and teacher of yoga for over 20 years. She brings a keen eye for movement to her osteopathic practice. She integrates this expertise to support healing and recovery, believing in the synergistic benefits of osteopathy and therapeutic movement. Outside of her practice, Tara also enjoys swimming and works in Sooke, coaching and instructing. She has yoga classes currently running in Sooke.
